I think Concerto's solution is a good idea.

seems to work on many “adult content” sites why not here?

As far as ccbill as achats bank we may be stuck with that for the time being.

Some friend of mine a few years back  were working on  a adult content cooking site, and ran into road block after road block trying to get a bank to handle their  payment transactions. the USA banks citing moral clauses.  “we don't do business with pornographers”  was often said on the fiance rejections they got.

It might explain the fact that most adult sites  are based in Canada

having just looked at the quick start guide for the 1st time i have to agree, it pretty lame and misleading. an interactive guide would be nice but i am not holding my breath. the programming involved is out of our hands at the time being.

Highlights from my 1st day as a moderator

I arrived  bright and early to find that nobody else had showed up yet. when Brandy finally showed up she pointed to an old desk in the corner. after fixing the short leg that made the desk wobble with  some tape and a matchbook .I checked  the drawers i found the usual stuff, rubber bands and old paper clips and dried up pens. in another drawer i discovered  what i think might have been an orange 100 years year ago and was 1/2 way on its way to turning to coal.

settled in and eager to get moderating, Lover walked up and tossed a tape measure on my rickety desk. Lover told me to get out there and measure  banner sizes. from the tone of his voice i guess its a big problem  so  i hit the bricks and measured and kept a detailed record.

returning to office i found the place empty again. On my desk was a note. my imagination running wild i hope its a plea to help diffuse  a major crisis in the village. im soon back to earth when i read it……….its an errand list!!!

pick up HB's art supplies

Get Lovers dry cleaning

go to the market for tea, milk, coffee  and pastries  for the office pantry.

they didn't leave any money  so i figured they have tabs at the stores  i visited……………..turned out no to be the case, but there good folks and will pay me back.

All in all it was a good 1st day

Startled but not surprised, I find myself once again hanging by my heels. A fine booby trap I must admit. As the mayhem settles down I can see  albeit upside down Stone embracing  Covems who sits at the kitchen table drinking tea.

“Ahem, a little help here people” I mutter doing a slow spin dangling from the rope.
Apparently Stone is fine leaving me hanging as she catches up with Covems and begins to tell him that taking care of the gang of 7  was not a problem.

“Not a problem? She only saw them on their best behavior “ shaking my head.
“Great pancakes Miss Stone”,” Yes Miss stone we tidied up the sleeping loft”,” we  re stained the deck for you Miss stone and did it right this time.” I seethe at the thought.
She never saw them cheating at poker, the little terrors took me for over 50 dollars before I wised up. She didn’t find my quad runner  out of gas and sporting some new scratches and dents.

“Speak of the devil and he will appear” comes to mind as the dwarfs enter the room and form a circle around me. Stone and Covems  oblivious to my plight.
“Well if it isn’t Mr. Rules, need some help?”  Grumpy says with a smile.
Giving up I simply say “state your terms for surrender”

Doc puts on his glasses and pulls out a rolled scroll and begins to read.
1 We want use of your boat and dock so we can access our fishing camp.
2  One pancake breakfast  at Hyperion  each month.
Then silence…………………”that’s it?” I say a bit  surprised.
“Oh and consider the pantry raid a welcome back gift for Coves”  Grumpy adds.

“We have ourselves a deal boys, now get my down before I begin to bleed from my eyes” I laugh.
The dwarfs lower me down and I stagger to my feet and make my way into the kitchen and spot my bottle of pilfered whiskey. Grabbing 3 coffee cups and the bottle from the counter I plop down at the table, a bit mused but no worse for wear.
“oh there you are,” looks who’s back” Stone say with a smile as I pour out 3 drinks.

I know how much effort you have put into this project and turning it into a 3rd person tale was no easy task. like Brandy has already mentioned  i too like the little “Stone extra touches.”

Legendary blues guitarist Johnny Winter has passed away while visiting Europe, he was 70 years old. Johnny was my real introduction into the blues when i was a teenager. his blistering fast solos and slide work is still impressive to this day. i  was fortunate enough to see him many times over the years, last time in 2010 at Eric Clapton's Cross roads guitar festival. he played a  foot stomping set accompanied by  some of the best guitarists of today. when his set was over the entire stadium gave him a long standing ovation. it was a moment i will always cherish.
