Newly discovered rock art in the Colombian Amazon. These elaborate paintings are 12,500 years old and stretch along eight miles of remote cliff face. There are tens of thousands of images. This picture shows an arrangement of images as an organized story, much like an Egyptian hieroglyph and very different from other ancient rock art. Researchers say it will take years, maybe decades to record, photograph, and study it all.

I have also sent a note to support suggesting this for F/F.  Perhaps if you did a poll post it would show interest as well as attract others into the forum.  It is shocking to me that this is not already included in the shop as I am sure it would sell extremely well.

Can we also request an upgrade to the forum?  It would be great to be able to like every post shown in this thread in support.  @sonia I have also sent my promised note to support.  I included m/m m/s s/s as everyone should be entitled to kiss before they fuck.  Seriously why is this not already part of the shop.  It would certainly sell.

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

For those who don't celebrate it is more than turkey.  We each have our traditions, and this song is one of them.

Have a listen.  It is better with the mornings Bloody Marys lol  But all over America today you can bet this song is blaring at least once.

“Years ago, anthropologist Margaret Mead was asked by a student what she considered to be the first sign of civilization in a culture. The student expected Mead to talk about fishhooks or clay pots or grinding stones.

But no. Mead said that the first sign of civilization in an ancient culture was a femur (thighbone) that had been broken and then healed. Mead explained that in the animal kingdom, if you break your leg, you die. You cannot run from danger, get to the river for a drink or hunt for food. You are meat for prowling beasts. No animal survives a broken leg long enough for the bone to heal.

A broken femur that has healed is evidence that someone has taken time to stay with the one who fell, has bound up the wound, has carried the person to safety and has tended the person through recovery. Helping someone else through difficulty is where civilization starts, Mead said.”

We are at our best when we serve others. Be civilized.

    A little something to ponder…

I asked one of my friends who has crossed 70 & is heading to 80 what sort of changes he is feeling in himself?
He sent me the following very interesting lines, which I would like to share with you ….

#1  After loving my parents, my siblings, my spouse, my children, my friends, now I have started loving myself.

#2  I just realized that I am not “Atlas”. The world does not rest on my shoulders.

#3  I now stopped bargaining with vegetables & fruits vendors. A few pennies more is not going to burn a hole in my pocket but it might help the poor fellow save for his daughter’s school fees.

#4  I pay my waitress a big tip. The extra money might bring a smile to her face. She is toiling much harder for a living than me

#5  I stopped telling the elderly that they've already narrated that story many times. The story makes them walk down the memory lane & relive the past.

#6  I have learned not to correct people even when I know they are wrong. The onus of making everyone perfect is not on me. Peace is more precious than perfection.

#7  I give compliments freely & generously. Compliments are a mood enhancer not only for the recipient, but also for me. And a small tip for the recipient of a compliment, never, NEVER turn it down, just say “Thank You”

#8  I have learned not to bother about a crease or a spot on my shirt. Personality speaks louder than appearances.

#9  I walk away from people who don't value me. They might not know my worth, but I do.

#10  I remain cool when someone plays dirty to outrun me in the rat race. I am not a rat & neither am I in any race.

#11  I am learning not to be embarrassed by my emotions. It’s my emotions that make me human.

#12  I have learned that it's better to drop the ego than to break a relationship. My ego will keep me aloof, whereas with relationships I will never be alone.

#13  I have learned to live each day as if it's the last. After all, it might be the last.

#14  I am doing what makes me happy. I am responsible for my happiness, and I owe it to myself. Happiness is a choice. You can be happy at any time, just choose to be!

Why do we have to wait to be 70 or 80, why can't we practice this at any stage and age….

“Life is a hard battle anyway. If we laugh and sing a little as we fight the good fight of freedom, it makes it all go easier. I will not allow my life's light to be determined by the darkness around me.”
