Count down is on…   ONLY FIVE DAYS LEFT TO VOTE AND JUDGE

Vote for your all time favourite Story or Poem. Closes Sunday 29 NOV 20 at midnight EST.  Achat 55 Word Writing Contest. Halloween 2020.

Its ever so easy to vote.  Please make sure you are logged in to forum  and then go to the story contest here:

You will see the list of stories at the top of the page.
To vote… click on the white dot shown just before the title of the story,
Then click on the submit button at the bottom so your vote registers

You will know you have done it correctly because the story you voted for will be in slightly bolder print
and you will be able to see the scores of all the public votes for each story.

Please ensure you vote for your favourite story.  And please do encourage others to take part as well!

Be careful to not make a mistake on your choice as once your vote is cast, you cannot change it

Thank you to all who have taken the trouble to read, vote and judge so far.
Those that still need to send in their Judging lists, please do so.

Contestants, please be aware of
11. Each contestant will be a judge and will be expected to put their story/poem preferences in a list. First will be the story or poem that is liked best then, in descending order to their least favourite. They cannot place their own entry but this will be awarded 40 points on receipt of their Judging List. Their list should be sent to Saga55, Vaughan and JessiCapri in PM.

You only need to send in 1 Judging List to show your preferences. Once received all of the stories you entered will receive 40 points each.

If you do not send in a Judges list of story preferences, you will lose out on 40 points for your story.

PS:  And kindly do not wait till 11:55 pm on November 29th.  We would hate to delay our announcement while we tabulated last minute submissions.    Thank you

Oh Sonia, please please, do not suggest a “clean out” of old posts.  Please!

There are those, once cherished, that have passed on but who's memory still live in these pages. 

Their memory and words now cherished by many.  And many I wished I had met.

So although I understand your intention, please, I pray those posts live forever.
