The picture above is the result of a little experiment. The eggs at the top were boiled in salt water. The shells were difficult to remove leaving them fine for an egg salad. The eggs at the bottom of the picture were boiled in salt water with a large helping of baking soda. The shells slipped off easily leaving them worthy of deviled eggs.

This is one of the coolest pictures I have ever seen. The men on the right are about to paratroop into Normandy on D-Day, 1944. The men on the left are the very same group 70 years later. Even more amazing, they are on the same plane which carried them into battle.

Growing up in the Sierra mtns of Norcal i've been blessed to to the wonders that are Yosemite many times. A marvel to behold and El Capitan said to be the largest solid vertical block of granite in the world. 😮
It's a amazing to watch those who scale it and even crazier to see those that spend the night snuggled against her cold body.
What a view they wake up to.
