Probably most recently popularised by the movie Interstellar this one is one of my favourite poems:

DO NOT GO GENTLE INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT
    Dylan Thomas – 1914-1953
Do not go gentle into that good night,
    Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light

My Uncle died from AIDS (technically, complications from Pneumonia)
He was 5'11″ and 200 pounds. Barrel chested like Captain Kirk
I saw him in Hospice when he looked like he only weighed 120 lbs, face gaunt, like death,
going in and out of consciousness. I actually prayed for his death, for his release. Every time I play this song I think of him.
The bad memories first, but then the good ones take over. I remember him as he was. I remember him from my youth.

I like this song too, very sad and moving for me

I nominate for the campervan of doom in no particular order:

    1 social injustice
    2 distributive injustice
    3 poverty
    4 capitalism
    5 bigotry
    6 the 1% ers.

Probably a bit of overlapping and that list but, will take care of a lot of problems (maybe, I hope).

Please, yes! Please please please make a discord channel for AChat. It would be so much easier than logging in here for those of us who are lazy

:D. Once it is set up a discord channel is so easy-to-use. Even for people who are thick as bricks like me

:-. There are people in AChat who would be easily able to do it, I’m sure. Thank you to the person who raised this topic, because it’s something I really want to happen 🙂

FULLY AGREE, seems like discrimination by omission if there are not equal poses for all orientations. Though, I hate to say it. :(” title=”>:(” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

Agree with everything, but it's the people in the game that make it worth coming back to for me  :)
