Congratulations from judge 22 to the winners, my personal favourite didn't win, but that's ok.

This time I didn't write a “secret essay” summarizing my thoughts about the stories and explaining why I voted the way I voted, among the authors the interest in such feedback  was close to zero after contest 12, but if someone wants to know a judge's opinion, feel free to ask.

Why can you still dislike at one meeting place?
Why can't you see the number of dislikes if you are at a place where you can't dislike?
Why not client Invites at the Night meeting place (not to mention public sex)?
Why can you only see your OWN relationships and join date? ? ? ? ?

I could hardly think of a more STUPID update (ok, maybe the Properties and the Gold Bars valuables were enough stupid too).
Who are the Stupid ones? The Achat Developers? NO…. We, the payers (not the players, the PAYERS) are the stupid ones by staying here at this growingly crappy game.

Not a perfect solution, I agree, but…SOME people enjoyed the like/dislike system so much that they were and still are asking for likes and dislikes (even in forum) and some even traded them, for some it was important enough to boost themselves with tons of alts to feel liked and loved.

So having the system still running in ONE out of FOUR meeting places is fine with me, I think it well represents the amount of members that enjoyed the system. Personally I would prefer to have it disabled completely (no likes either), but that I can live with. Why they don't allow public sex in night room, who knows…but it surely will be better for business of whoever stands in the windows. It definately makes clear what the room was made and intended to be for.

The restrictions about relationships and join dates are also ok I think…personally I didn't mind to share that info, some did. Here a function would be nice where everyone could decide on her/his own to share it or don't.

The change in general was a step into the right direction, thats was the general feedback I heard today.

Hmm…I’d say if you want privacy, go to room. Who says that there has to happen more when you are in a room, more than dancing and chatting?
Expecting privacy in a PUBLIC area collides with what a PUBLIC area is meant to be IMHO…

That's how I understand it, yes. Obviously achat is fine with it. The TOS however say if you register, all details you provide achat with have to be true. Who knows if that includes gender from their point of view…

And i also can not confirm the rumor.
All i can confirm is that this bug, described earlier, will happen all the time for new free users… as people can read in this forum since march and that i could recreate this scenario over and over again.

But i promised the support team to not register new free accounts and i will keep that promise

I'm not sure that it really is a bug. From your description it seems to happen only to free users that are trying to run more than one free account. In my opinion one account is enough, especially for free users.

Your achat seems to be a bit outdated, I never saw it looking like this since I joined. Try a fresh installation maybe? I could imagine a software that was not updated since years is unable to find updates and is unable to connect…

Part of an email support sent to me a while back (May 26th):

Hi,

we are sorry about your bad experiences. We have done lot of things in the last weeks to avoid bad situations you described.
First of all it is not possible to create free users just to use them voting with likes or dislikes. However we don't want to restrict the number of paid avatars created by one person.
Other thing is that we banned a few users who was the most complained about. I suppose you noticed that already… [the rest is not for public eyes]

Furthermore there are rumours since many weeks now that you can have only one free account. You cannot have another one until it reaches level 10, that was what I heard. Which, according to the email, would be impossible for free users, unless they recieve lots of gifts, i 'd say.

That rumours have never been confirmed, to me however it seems they are true and thats why it seems your free accounts are no longer available once you logged in with the next one.

Why people need more than one account at all will remain a mystery for me.

I can understand how she feels…a poll for everyone what shemales should be called…eh…wtf? Why does this need to be discussed at all, what's the thread openers intention? I know a few shemales in game, not a single one ever complained.

After reading about mentors, I was quite interested in that topic. Changing 'game'-money into real money was not my concern, I however think some people seem to collect enough virtual money and therefore could make some real dollars here. Seeing how many a$ some people dumped into completely useless list entries I infact think there's obviously enough cash flowing. Whatever makes people happy…

I have contact with newbies quite often and it wouldn't be the first time that I told them a few things about achat…about its bright sides, about its dark sides. So I was interested about that idea, and asked support about it, I even thought about 'applying' to be tasked officially with what I'm doing often anyway, why not contributing something to achat, why not helping making it a better place.

The answer i got was…unexpected….and, forgive me to ruin the party, shattering:

I just thought I better share it.
Does this mean I'll stop telling newbies things? Nope. I'll just keep doing it without a 'title'.

Voted NO, because the worst stalkers, freaks, bullies, psychopaths and criminals here are premium members with high and highest levels anyway. Why should free members be group punished for what freaks with paid premium accounts did and are still doing?

When a newbie attacks and gets reported, he is gone the next day. When a premium attacks and gets reported, nothing happens.

Give us a tool instead to get rid of such people, no matter how much money they dumped into achat. I was promised such a tool once by “administrator”, but why should developers build anything, as long as some people befriend such psychos.

A party room that people can rent for some hours however would be a nice addition…
