I know you can't eat the damn food

Are you such a bad cook?  :D

As long as there are women we are bidding for we could use A$. The ebay principle: The last bid gets it for 1A$. Of course we have to think about what can be paid for men, as they can't receive gifts.

I’m sure you are not allowed to. But sometimes it may happen, people are doing what they are not allowed to 😉

“The Juror” written by George D. Green. I started to read this book 3 or 4-times, always stopped after some pages. Then, one day, I read some pages more – and suddenly I coul not stop reading.
They also made a movie (1996) with Demi Moore, Anne Heche and Alec Baldwin. I never saw this one, so I can't say if it's a good one.

Again the hint, if you read the plot, don't look at the last passages.

This is usually the job of the presenter (I’m not sure if I use the right term, in German forums he is called Moderator). We don’t them here and Tom & Rab probably read but don’t talk with us. I think they are too busy, working for a better AChat expereince 😉

Up to now in my opinion we don’t need presenters or watchmen. But either some of us should be this (to move and to add new boards) or they give the creator the ability to move a thread.

I understand you Carli. But I think, to give them a wildcard, just as they are free members for two years isn't correct. I don't believe they will become premium members then, as they didn't subscribe up to now. Why should they change their mind?

By the way, did you  notice, they nearly doubled the fees. If you buy A$ if you have a membership they price didn't change.

I would give a new hint but I know, here are enough who know it. To go on, everyone is allowed to answer.

Yes bobbler, that happens to me , too. I don't have a problem if girls just say “hi”, I answer and can start a talk. But if you answer, starting a talk or just writing “Sorry, I am busy at the moment” and then you recognize they are in the room you know it's strange.

I want to bring this idea back on top. I still think there is potential in it.

One of the last question was about the time difference. One possibility is not to have a live auction, but a start and a finish time (2 or 3 days). Or just to start one try live and to see what's happening.

Western World and Futureworld have been great movies at their time. Peter Fonda and Yul Brynner – fantastic.
