You can't change your gender.! That means, when you first built you character, you choosed to be a woman. You can change everything, but not the gender. So you have to ask the support (I don't know if they will change it) or you have to create a new account.

The most important reason they won't do this is to keep people away only to have fun with the robots. Sure, it's not funny to buy something and then seeing you don't like it.
