sinnn, sorry love but she did give the full title. but, you can always have a little fight for the right, or better yet, both post a question. I am ok with either option.
One of my all tine favorite movies of all tine is Bram Stoker's Dracula. It is the only movie about Dracula, that has ever made an attempt to be true to the original book from whence Dracula was created. The fictional one of Stoker mind you, not the Prince of said name from history. The only other film to even briefly touch on it was Nosferatu, and that is a film for another time. In this version of the film, we see why Dracula has forsaken god, and become the monster he is. He feels betrayal at the loss of his love, and though he is scheming to spread his kind throughout the world starting with London. Once he sees Mina, and is reminded of his love, we start to see a transformation. We can begin to see shades of the man he once was, as he begins to pursue Mina, in hopes of regaining his love. We can see that perhaps he has regrets in hip past. I see this a beautiful love story as well as a horror film.
Of course if you wish to disagree with me, feel free to do so. I only give the reasons why I like it.Janine, it may be a guess, but It's the correct guess. It's the only version to ever address his past, or his motivations. It's what puts it among my favorites.
It's all you now.movie quote:
Man1: I, who served the Cross. I, who commanded nations, hundreds of years before you were born.
Man 2: Your armies were defeated. You tortured and impaled thousands of people.
Man 1: I was betrayed. Look what your God has done to me!As I am lookind around the room even the darkest corners seem bright as day. An advantage to being a creature of the night. I can even see the one who is not visible to the normal persons in the room. she is going from person to person, rigging their clothing to fall away from their persons. Another is sneaking arounf in the shadows as a pickpocket, or an assassin might do. I shall have to keep my eyes on that one. The room is becoming lively now, as the music has begun. Things should get interesting very soon.
Absolutely right on both Ladies. Tina can still strut her stuff against anyone out there. And there is no disputing Madonna'a skills and passion either.
Monty Python's Life Of Brian
I know, i know, but sinnnn said it first so go ahead sinnnn, it's all you
I have to agree with you sinnnn. Each and everything you like will bring something different to the party. Sometimes it's the lyrics speaking to ypur soul, soothing it, or making you think about life. Other times it is just a really good beat that makes you want to get up and move. Or sometimes, just a voice that appeals. I'll listen to anything twice, just in case I was wrong with the first opinion. A lot of music from the 70's & 80's had a true feeling to it, whereas a lot of music now is just cookie cutter stuff, with no soul, or originality left in it. I'm not saying all nw music is like this. A lot of it is though.
sinnnn, I'll give it to you. You chose the wrong one as your final answer. This line was unique to Patti Smith's version. It does not apperar in Springsteen's song. Anyway love, all yours.
An herse is the next one; Song lyric, looking for the songwriter:
Love is an angel disguised as lust
Here in our bed 'til the morning comesThen by all means dear, please remain invisible as long as you like. perhaps we can have a game of Marco Polo later with sinnnn as the objective.
OOC @ sinnnn Sweetie I was having the same problem as you are. 1 question – Did you rename the photo when you placed it on your computer? If you did, this is the problem. The URL you need to link to has to be online somewhere. It can not link to a file on your computer. As soon as I gave it a link to the original photo online, it popped right up. I hope this helps love.
Ms. Mina steps out of her corner, and approaches the band, asking for something danceable. As the music begins “Anyone care to join me on the dance floor”? stepping to the center of the ballroom.
@ Mixael, Nothing wrong with lurking in the shadows. I do it myself quite often. And, look at all the things you can learn while you're at it.
