Had to cancel all festivities though
, after visiting that airshow yesterday i'm struck down with a heatstroke and some terrible sunburns on top of my head, in my face and neck and on my arms. I could easy pass as a indian as my skin is red like a freshly cooked lobster.Only my parents came over to visit me, for the rest, it's a birthday to forget, jumping in the shower every few hours and applying some cooling gel to get the heat out of my skin, to keep the pain bearable
So thank you all for the kind words here today, it's something i really needed

I Spent my day today at a Dutch Aribase, visiting the exhibition days of the Royal Dutch Airforce. This was the first of two days, the next is tomorrow, that the airforce displays it's equipment to the public, in a static and a flying show. They also invite other airforces to join these days. So it was a very full program with flying during the day from 9 in the morning till 5 in the afternoon.
Just to give you a idea, here is part of the flightline

as i said, not only the Royal Dutch Airforce was present, so some example from other country's for our European Achat friends. To start of with a German F4-F Phantom
Next a C130-J Hercules from the Danish Airforce
Also the best four display teams in europe where present.
Patrouille de Suisse from Switzerland
From Italie, the Frecce Tricolori
And of course from the Royal Airforce of the UK, The Red Arrows
The French team Patrouille de France did also gave there display and i would have show you pics of them had it not been that the batteries in my camera had died on me.
Afterall a very nice way to spent a day, but now i'm a little deaf and my head and neck are very red from a sunburn
especially with Kirk taking a look after he told her he would not do that
, afterall she is Dr. Marcus and all fans know where that leads too Hehehe James, that's what i normaly do
