Welcome to the Forum crazy demon girl Anatheme……and good luck in the writing competition
You need to tell that spouse of yours to get back here and do some more posting too, or I'll no longer be secreting his bottles of whisky about my person for him so that he stays hands free.
Have a look around, have a read, post your own…but most of all have fun.
See you later sweet potater

I fail to see why anyone would want to Ignore all free users in the first place. Surely experienced players should be welcoming and helping them rather than stereotyping because there are a few bad apples in every basket?
I was very grateful for the help of some lovely people back when I first joined and do my best to guide and help new users all I can now. I've met some really nice people by doing so who now occupy a welcome spot in my Friend list. I've also met some who want nothing more than to aggravate people, one that springs to mind being Moreno who has been here a while now and still hasn't a stitch of clothing and annoys people constantly with unwanted invites and pressing too close to other avatars. An annoyance, but no reason to assume that everyone that joins will behave this way.
Yes, there are new members that are disruptive, rude or simply a nuisance. Just as in the world. Use the Ignore button. Don't engage in a torrent of abuse like some do. Simply don't add fuel to the fire.
Very often what is perceived as bad behaviour from new users is lack of knowledge as to the mechanics of the game, expected etiquette and being in an unfamiliar environment. The last thing they need is to find they are Ignored, or worse, abused and humiliated.
I recently entered Amsterdam at the same time as a new lvl0 female avatar. I said Hello and welcomed them to Achat. Her reply was that she was so embarrassed that everyone was clothed and she was naked, thinking that because this is a sex game she should spend the A$1000 given on joining on poses. A lack of information resulting in a simple error. No reason to be placed on an Ignore list. Myself and my partner reassured her not to worry and gifted her some A$ to buy some clothes. She's now a valued friend and a very lovely person who would have been missed if there had been a blanket Ignore on free users. My suggestion would be to revisit the idea of having Mentors to help new members as has been mentioned before in this forum.
At present people join and have very sparse information on how to proceed. Add to that the fact that many players with some time served seem to think they are sonehow superior to new members and will be openly hostile to them and you have all the ingredients for destroying a community rather than building one.So, Ateam, please review the idea of Mentors or provide some clear and very visible guidelines for those new to the game.
As to the Credit Card issue BBG, all I can suggest already has been. Contact Support and your card provider regarding a refund and ensuring no further payments are taken.
See you in the game

He draws near the periphery
In disbelief on delivery
Came child from the deep inferno
Crusty head of dead volcano
Heartless crow with brittle beak
Wooden leg too shocked to speak
Lilac dust of a woman's hair
A wooden cross a paper prayer
A stone where her body lay
A stack of feathers a pile of hay
A mushroom for an eyeball
A mustache from the snow fall
Worms weave a ring where fairies square dance
Queens and kings, fairies weave wigs with eyelash
Trance music makes the fairies danceFrom the caves of snail shells
Echoes the mutter medieval spells
Mystery flows her wicked river
Of thorn and blade and silver sliver
Bending 'round the clover fields
Their sapling stems don't break but yield
Her pain inflicts no arguments
Must learn to sway and un-arrange
As earth she makes her final passage
After humans long have ravagedVanished with all maps for motion
Upward angels last devotion
One by one escort us home
To leave the elementals free to roam
To bathe in the last of ocean's foam
To beach comb the nuclear debris
Our plastic toys and our metal trees
On the perfect day you'll find the breeze
Once blew the pollen the feet of bees
Now cry the stars when upon the earth
Their gaze might rest a nostalgic burst
A lament be heard through all the cosmos

HAWKWIND Arrival In Utopia
After events a little while ago there was a song in my head that I wanted to send to you.
Trouble was I couldn't remember the artist or the title.
I've spent the intervening days trying to find it for you.
Today, finally, I did. Better late than never.
You'll know why I'm sending it when you listen.
With arms full of hugs and a heart full of love…I hope you like it.Rhiannon Giddens Wayfaring Stranger

Wild Child Expectations

We met and it was simple
I had it all and you were the one
That would make it all okay
You made me feel so different
We had each other night after night
All my troubles went away
But of course it's just not the same
You try to hold too tightly
Everything's gonna change
Make the rules and it's just a gameI can't stop burning bridges
I'll win you over, make you my own
And then we'll both feel different
You can't possibly give what I want from you
I know I said you were perfect
I made the rules that you didn't know
All of these expectations
You can't possibly give what I want from youSo now I treat you different
I made a list of all that I need
And I left it up to you
I treat you like a stranger
And talk to strangers like they know me
It's your fault for all I do
As if you don't suffer too
I tied up all our shit
Into something that we can't undo
These are the rules I should follow tooI can't stop burning bridges
I'll win you over, make you my own
And then we'll both feel different
You can't possibly give what I want from you
I know I said you were perfect
I made the rules that you didn't know
All of these expectations
You can't possibly give what I want from youOh it's all my fault
Never meant to be so unkind
Now I don't listen when you talk
And what it comes down to is
I'm just afraid to lose something that shouldn't be mineI can't stop burning bridges
I'll win you over, make you my own
And then we'll both feel different
You can't possibly give what I want from you
I know I said you were perfect
I made the rules that you didn't know
All of these expectations
You can't possibly give what I want from you
You can't possibly give what I want from you
