As more often, our wishes exceed the progress the A-team is making. But I am sure they recognize our needs for afterplay are as big as our needs for foreplay. For the majority of users, the other actions are primarily used, for us “nutcases” who want the full experience, there will never be enough positions! lol
Jenny, I do! miss General Chat…lol
In that case, maybe a reinforced leash would be best
Would a good mistress really need a leash to hold you back?
Some girls want to turn a gay guy, some guys want to run a gay woman. Why wouldn't it work the other way?
and as far as being treated as a girl… I was raised a gentleman, I'd treat you like a womanOctober 18, 2010 at 10:00 pm in reply to: Trojan horse in achatupdater? – No, false detection of McAfee! #43221That's great news Tom. I'm very glad they took notice of your (and maybe our) requests!
Thanks for the effort!

I think finding the misstres won't be the problem. Getting a leash to hold you, might…
as long as noone tries to “save us from just being straight”
(you guys got me hanging on the edge of my seat. What a cliffhanger!)
And this is a shady area for both us, the users, as well as for the developers. How much should it cost and when is it cost-efficiënt in correlation with customer-satisdfaction to hire moderators to fight off spam… How much will it cost? I'd probably pay more, but let's not give the A-team that idea yet…lol
I agree with both Janine and MrMonro that it's not the greatest solution they came up with and that a lot of people are hindered broadening their horizon. I think that's a big shame.
For the moment though, they are trying to have AChat as accessible as possible for as many people as possible. If we want unrestricted chat possibilities, we should expect a (much) higher fee for the service. In order to stop scams and spams, moderators will have to be hired and, especially in a field like this, labour costs make up the majority of costs needed to run an operation like this.
So the question, i think, is: do we want to pay more and have a better experience/service, or do we enjoy the low fees and accept not being able to use all technical possibilities of a text-program…Tom,
the translation is in your inbox (first draft).
I still have to adjust some sentences or words to fit them in the supposed windows, but I can always do that later or send you a revised copy. Let me know if you find anything that interferes with running AChat. Regards,Tighfit74
I guess by setting myself up as sitting duck, someone will pull the trigger eventually, bobbler…
Well, I finished a first version of translating it to dutch, not a small job, about 531 lines to translate. And as I was running AChat a couple of times to adjust the text, AChat started crashing. Maybe I used some unauthorised character in the text that I should have avoided? Would be nice if someone could go over the text and check for bugs? I'm not a programmer…
Guys, the translation is for the program itself, the ones who find their own language useful, will probably find people who speak their native tongue and not mix in with the “englsih” pool. I think the more languages available, the better…
