The same names keep coming up, I look out for their reactions (yours too) and usually like what I read. It does have a sense of familiarity, friendship and warmth

I really love that and I am happy to be part of it. Besides the game, I spend as much and maybe even more on the forum. You all welcomed me and made me feel taken seriously. That's a great asset to my life. At least, that's how I feel…
TightFit74ParticipantWhat about, leaving copyright issues outside of the equasion just for the fun of it, a:
– zorro suit
– superman
– spiderman,
– the hulk,
– fantastic four (nice idea for a threesome maybe? lol)
etc., etc., etc…..October 7, 2010 at 4:11 pm in reply to: Trojan horse in achatupdater? – No, false detection of McAfee! #43219TightFit74ParticipantThanks a lot Tom for at least adapting AChat in such a way it is playale, even while McAfee is running. I appreciate your efforts a lot.
As far as I'm concerned, this topic can be closed. Enough info shared. I'm just happy to be able to play again!Tightfit

If a good friend suggest something… Unfortunately I just bought a 2 year subscription to McAfee and I hate the fact that I can't be in control of the content on my pc. I also feel that the efforts of McAfee helping me, weren't to great. The short and simple answer was: shut down mcafee if you want to play this game. That's not customer service in my book…. Then again, I would probably not be throwing away money if AVG is free… MIght give it a shot… Thanks for the tips!
TightFit74ParticipantEven though playing them for a while can be pretty gratifying ( I agree with Janine that coming on rude deserves the same treatment back), I can understand that for girls the situation is different. You got so many more cold invites then we (or maybe I should just say me), so I can understand just ignoring them by letting the timer run out to zero or putting them o ignore list. Usually, when I let the timer run to zero, I et no send requests. They get the point
TightFit74ParticipantDid you give your account name and password to anyone or filled it in in a form on internet? Did you follow some kind of link, promising you free stuff? Then read page one and also the homepage of the forum… Sounds like you were tricked
TightFit74ParticipantWell then, what about a Hawaiian palm-leave skirt. Even easier access than a kilt…
TightFit74ParticipantTo the contrary of general believe, Santa likes a naughty girl…
TightFit74ParticipantWhat about a massage? Or maybe that should be the next pose, after foreplay… With the different parts of the body as the different features of the position…

Thanks a lot Tom! Big compliment to the A-team!!!October 6, 2010 at 5:06 pm in reply to: Anti-virus problems and Free Anti Virus protection for your PC or Lap top #43238TightFit74ParticipantTom,
I'm not pointing fingers here. I don't want to blame anyone. I'm just being confronted with a problem that is not easily solved and was curious on how a thing like this is done. I taste from your words a little that in fact, as a programmer, trying to satisfie your customers, have to develop your software in such a way it will pass by any virus detection program without a hitch. And since they are secret protocols, you have to hope for a clue from them on how to make it different? Sounds pretty frustrating to me.
And trust me, I do hate the fact I can't control on what to trust and what not to trust on my pc. McAfee dictates and as owner of my pc, I can't tell otherwise. Would be a big influence on my decision of choosing different software next timeTightfit
October 6, 2010 at 3:39 pm in reply to: Trojan horse in achatupdater? – No, false detection of McAfee! #43216TightFit74ParticipantHi Tom,
I tried and found that I can play achat, but under a couple of conditions:
1. turn off McAfee “real-time virus scanner”
2. Reinstall AChat
3. Start and playDownside: as soon as you turn on the real-time scanner again, it will detect a trojan horse and removes it. Which means going through steps 1-3 all over again, everytime you want to play.
Who's supposed to fix this problem? I'm paying for both services and neither can do anything about it? So what's the deal here?

October 6, 2010 at 3:31 pm in reply to: Trojan horse in achatupdater? – No, false detection of McAfee! #43230TightFit74ParticipantThanks Lover, but not only do I pay for AChat, I pay for McAfee as well. I think it's a bad thing they can't fix my problems. I've been running AChat with realtime virus scan turned off. Which does mean a security risk for me. The firewall can be left turned on, but the biggest downside is, as soon as you turn on McAfee again, it removes the updater. You can only play when McAfee realtime virus scan is turned off and after reinstalling!!!!! Achat. Otherwise it'll shut down after a warning the update failed and the program can't start. So I need to reinstall and reinstall and reinstall all over again. Now that's a great use of my time and my cpu capacity…
