Teams will compete in six groups of four, named A to F. The top two teams from each group and the four best third-placed teams across all groups will advance to the Round of 16, ensuring a competitive knock-out phase.
From the Round of 16 (the 16 teams left), the tournament becomes a straight knockout through the quarter finals, semi finals and final to determine the champion.
