Exciting News Everyone

Due to an unexpected and kind donation from an anonymous benefactor this particular competition is going to change slightly.

It will be split into 2 contests.

1.  A Haiku Contest where there will be improved prizes of  …..  Drum Roll  please….

1st Place   –   A$ 1,000
2nd Place  –   A$  750
3rd Place  –   A$  500
4th place  –   A$  250
5th Place  –   A$  250

This contest involves writing an original wintery Haiku with 3 lines and syllabells of  5 , 7 , 5.
You can enter up to a maximum of 2 Haikus each but only one can win a prize. The prize will be awarded to the highest ranking Haiku. Then prizes awarded to the next highest ranking Haikus by a different writer.  No more than one prize can be won by a writer in this contest.

AND 

2.  A Christmas Jumper  Contest  where there will be improved prizes of  …..  Drum Roll  please….

1st Place – A$  1000
2nd Place – A$  500
3rd Place –  A$  250 

This involves finding the best ugliest jumper  or sweater you can find. It can be one taken yourself or one you have found off the internet. Please ensure it is sized to a width of 300.  Only 1 entry per person in this contest.

Once completed and found, send your entries to Saga55 who will publish them in separate topics anonymously.

The persons entering and secret Judges will list the Haikus and Jumpers in order of preference and send to Saga55 who will award points.
There will also be a public vote where points will also be awarded.
In the end, the entries with the most votes will be announced as Winners and the entrants identified.

Open and Deadline for Entries.   Dec 6 to Dec 20 Midnight EST
Open and Deadline for voting:   Dec 20 to 30 Dec 2020  Midday EST.
Winners Announced on New Years Eve and prizes awarded.

Great ideas to improve the public room experience.

It would be nice if  each car could support fucking on the bonnet or fucking / oral on the back seat.
And for walls of buildings to be able to accommodate the standing poses

I also support the ideas of bench sitting / picnic blanket sitting / lying, holding hands and a  greeting hug.

Its a great little contest to enter.

The 55 word count challenges the Achat seasoned writers to limit their words and produce a worthwhile short story, yet it is short enough to encourage none writers to have a go.

Also it opens up the competition to poets which I think gives an excellent slant and mix to the entries.

okay,  I'll refute and agree..

Trump –  yeah for wrecking our planet and producing a son who trophy hunts. Not wearing a mask…  There's loads of other reasons, I'm sure but those are good nough.

The Senior Royals  no. They are pretty cool, do great things for tourism  and have amazing history and pageantry. 
Prince Andrew &  co  & Prince Edward & co can go though.  Push them in the campervan.

Michael Gove –  Agree. He is a little backstabber and not worthy of being a senior politician.  Into the campervan.

Jamie Oliver – Disgree. He improved school meals and encouraged kids to eat healthy. Cant put him in there. Least hes trying to improve public health through food and nutrition.  Come one,  he rid the world of Turkey Twizzlers!!! – Useless fried pieces of mechanical meat and meat flavourings.

Taylor Swift?  No opinion on her … sorry

Michael Mcintyre –  Disagree. I actually like his sense of humour and enjoy the comedy when he sends texts on celebrities phones to all their contacts. He also described himself once as the fat Pierce Brosnen…. I rather like having him about to cheer the nation up in these Covid times.

Liam Gallager –  No. Love his music and fights with his brother.  I'll save him from the van.
